Bio: Aside from being the smartest, prettiest, and funniest female at any given party on any given day, Nerding Hour host Mel Zelikovsky is a first year graduate student in the Department of Classics at the U of A, with an emphasis in Classical Archaeology. She's basically Indiana-Anna Jones. Fending off Nazis, digging up old things, using her whip to get out of precarious situations, gallivanting around with Sean Connery and speaking dead languages are merely all part of a day's work. Mel is normally appraised on all current events (yes, ALL THE CURRENT EVENTS) and American political news and issues. She speaks a number of modern languages, is a self-proclaimed aficionado of all things horror, action, adventure, and sci-fi, and does not read nearly enough modern fiction. She is an academic elitist and cares not, because you're all plebes -- uhh, well, she believes in everyone's capacity to learn and stuff.... Mel comes to KAMP as an alumna of New York University's FM student radio, WNYU.
